The Role:

ThoughtFull is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to unlock data-driven insights and shape the future of mental healthcare through scalable analytics, infrastructure, and automation.

What you will do:

• Data Architecture & Engineering

• Design and Implement Scalable Data Infrastructure
  Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and ETL processes to ensure reliable and high-quality data availability across internal systems and analytics platforms.

• Unify Disparate Data Sources
  Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple platforms (e.g., product databases, analytics tools, CRM, and third-party APIs) into a unified, accessible source of truth.

• Ensure Data Quality and Governance
  Define and enforce data validation, schema evolution, security access controls, and documentation standards to ensure trustworthy and compliant data flows across the organization.
• Automate Data Workflows and Monitoring
  Create scheduled jobs, alerts, and self-healing data flows to reduce manual intervention and maintain uptime and accuracy of reports and pipelines.

• Analytics, Reporting & Insights

• Deliver Multi-Angle Data Insights
  Work closely with product, business, and clinical teams to build dynamic dashboards and custom reports that extract actionable insights from user behaviour, operational performance, and clinical data.

• Advance Self-Service Reporting
  Enable teams across departments to access and interact with curated data sets and reusable metrics through intuitive tools and interfaces.

• Develop Business Intelligence Models
  Translate business questions into data models, metrics, and queries that align with product goals, mental health outcomes, and strategic initiatives.

• Data Mining, AI & Automation

• Leverage AI/ML for Predictive & Diagnostic Use Cases
  Collaborate with engineering and product teams to apply machine learning or AI models for classification, forecasting, and personalization use cases that align with ThoughtFull’s roadmap.

• Drive Data-Driven Automation
  Implement automated decision systems that reduce operational overhead (e.g., clinical routing, engagement nudges, user segmentation, etc.) through rule-based or AI-assisted logic.

• Perform Exploratory Data Mining
  Uncover latent trends and patterns in product and user datasets that inform new features, risk flags, and program effectiveness.

• Collaboration & Cross-Functional Execution

• Work Closely with Product, Engineering and Clinical Teams
  Collaborate on product instrumentation, analytics event design, and backend data models to ensure clean and purposeful data capture at the source.

• Support Leadership with Strategic Data
  Partner with senior stakeholders to provide executive-level reporting, health metrics, and recommendations grounded in data.

• Champion a Data-Driven Culture
  Promote best practices, education, and knowledge-sharing around data tools and usage to help scale a data-informed culture across ThoughtFull.

• Performance & Impact Measurement

• Monitor and Optimize Data System KPIs
  Track performance, cost efficiency, and reliability of data systems (e.g., pipeline runtimes, freshness, failure rates) to drive continuous improvements.

• Ensure Scalability & Compliance
  Design systems to scale with growth while adhering to security and privacy standards (e.g., ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.).

• Contribute to ThoughtFull’s Data Excellence
  Continuously evaluate and implement new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to keep ThoughtFull’s data platform modern, flexible, and high-impact.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or BI roles

• Proficient in SQL and Python or R

• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Superset, Power BI, or Tableau

• Familiarity with modern data pipeline tooling, cloud platforms, and APIs

• Bonus: experience with predictive models, healthcare data, or privacy-compliant architectures
