We are seeking an experienced Data Science Lead to contribute to impactful AI-driven transformation in a high-growth, sustainability-focused environment.
- Lead and manage a team of data scientists, data engineers, and ML engineers, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment.
- Oversee the smooth operation of AI products, proactively monitoring performance and resolving issues within SLAs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Play a key role in recruiting and establishing the AI & Data Science team in Malaysia.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to successfully deploy and integrate AI solutions.
- Manage and prioritize AI-driven initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
Must-have:
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in LLMs, transformer models, vector databases, RAG frameworks, LangChain, and related AI technologies.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, and experience with cloud computing platforms.
- Hands-on experience in deploying AI models and working with MLOps tools such as Kubeflow, MLflow.
- Fluent in English.
