Job summary
A logistics management company in Penang is seeking an Operation Supervisor to manage daily operations involving fleets and drivers, ensuring timely delivery of products in accordance with company policies. Responsibilities include planning schedules, monitoring deliveries, and coordinating with the team and clients. Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications in Logistics or Supply Chain are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills, and sound judgement.

- Knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergency situations.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of fleets and drivers.
- Ensure delivery of products on time according to company policy.
- Monitor daily planned deliveries until completion.
- Coordinate with planners and Terminal for related issues.
- Remind drivers to follow clients' requirements and SOP.
Skills
Education
KEY Position to manage day to day operations(fleets & drivers), ensure SAFE DELIVERY of our clients' products to clients' customers on time and in accordance with the Company’s policies and clients' requirements.
- Make arrangment on resolve and follow up the vehicle issues, drivers issues and deliveries issues.
- Do daily and weekly planning for driver and truck availability schedule.
- Monitor daily planned deliveries complete by the end of the day.
- Manage and monitor drivers' leave application and attendance.
- Communicate with planner closely.
- Communicate with Terminal (Dispatcher) closely for any related issues.
- Communicate with superior from time to time.
- Work with the team to ensure operation run smoothly.
- Play a KEY role to remind driver follow clients' requirement and work SOP.
- Knowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situations
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- Active listener with excellent communication skills
- Sound judgement and critical thinking
- Minimum SPM or above.
- FRESH GRADUATES are encouraged to apply
- Junior level specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent will be advantage.
- Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia
