Job summary
A leading marketing company in Malaysia seeks a Digital Marketing Specialist to enhance their presence on social media platforms like Xiao Hong Shu. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in digital marketing, particularly in creating engaging content, managing campaigns, and video editing. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree related to marketing and proficiency in both Mandarin and English, with a minimum of one year in similar roles. This position offers opportunities in a dynamic team environment with a focus on innovative content strategies.
Qualifications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in Mandarin & English; Bahasa Melayu is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in digital marketing and social media.
- Proficient in content management systems and graphic design software.
Responsibilities
- Create product-focused content and simple design work.
- Coordinate with creators and manage posting schedules.
- Develop and execute successful digital marketing campaigns.

Tools
Familiar with current social media trends, particularly on Xiao Hong Shu.
Hands‑on experience with Xiao Hong Shu, including copywriting styles and platform guidelines.
Basic video shooting and editing skills using tools such as CapCut/(剪映) or similar software.
Ability to create product‑focused content, simple design work, and editing using tools like Canva.
Experience dealing with KOCs: sourcing suitable creators, preparing campaign briefs, coordinating content drafts, and ensuring timely posting.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Media, Communications, or any related field.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in Mandarin & English. Bahasa Melayu is a plus point.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in digital marketing, social media and content creation, particularly on Xiao Hong Shu.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns.
- Proficient in content management systems, graphic design software (Canva), video shooting and editing tools CapCut/(剪映) and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with digital marketing, social media and content creation in Pharmaceutical/Healthcare/Beauty line will be advanced advantage.
