Job summary
A digital marketing agency in Kuala Lumpur seeks an SEO Specialist to conduct keyword research, implement best practices, and build relationships with gaming platforms. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years in SEO, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Mandarin. This role offers the opportunity to enhance clients' online presence and drive search performance improvements.
Qualifications

- Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis.
- Build relationships with gaming blogs and forums.
- Implement technical SEO best practices and monitor performance.

- Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-performing, relevant keywords for our clients websites.
- Build relationships with gaming blogs, forums, and review sites, launch outreach campaigns to acquire natural backlinks.
- Perform keyword research and work with content editors and web developers to improve content and website structure for better SERP ranking. Collaborate with PR for guest posts and game influencer partnerships.
- Implement and monitor technical SEO best practices, including optimising Core Web Vitals, Site architecture, page speed, and mobile optimisation.
- Analyse website performance data and search engine trends to identify opportunities for improvement and present comprehensive reports to clients.
- Monitor and disavow harmful links. Implement schema markup for rich results; conduct site audits to identify and fix technical SEO issues (broken links, duplicate content, etc.)
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO algorithms and industry best practices and proactively recommend new strategies to enhance our clients online presence.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in an agency or in-house digital marketing role.
- Excellent understanding of search engine algorithms, on-page and off-page SEO techniques, and the ability to interpret and act on complex data.
- Proficient in using SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.
- Experience in conducting link outreach and submission of directory listing.
- Experience in conducting technical audits, onsite implementation, and content development.
- Problem-solving: Identifying issues affecting website rankings and devising solutions to overcome them.
- Analytical thinking: Interpreting data from analytics platforms to identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Relationship building; establishing and maintaining positive connections with website owners, outreach strategies.
- Research skill: Identifying relevant websites and potential link opportunities through thorough research.
- Blackhat/Whitehat welcome
- Proficiency in Mandarin due to the requirements of the role.
