Responsibilities

• Configure Firewall rules to secure networks.
• Manage and optimise roaming services.
• Classify SMS traffic using signature-based analysis.
• Create customised reports for customers.
• Perform regular system health checks.
• Respond to technical support requests.
• Troubleshoot issues raised by clients.
• Conduct penetration tests to detect vulnerabilities.

Skills

Technical understanding of signalling protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure Firewall rules to secure customer networks from threats and revenue leakage.
• Manage and optimise roaming services and steering rules.
• Classify SMS traffic using signature-based analysis by message type and brand.
• Create and deliver customised reports and analytics dashboards for customers.
• Perform regular system health checks including hardware, OS, and firewall modules.
• Respond to technical support requests and incidents via ticketing systems or email.
• Troubleshoot issues identified during health checks or raised by clients.
• Conduct penetration tests and deploy honeypots to detect vulnerabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, preferably in Telecommunications.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Mobile Core Network operations (CS/PS).
• Strong technical understanding of signalling protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Wireshark, Elasticsearch, Grafana, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working in data centre environments and handling physical server equipment.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• This position is open to Malaysian Citizens or PR holders only, and is home-office based with weekly on-site meetings in Kuala Lumpur.
