Job Description
Overview
- Achieve sales targets by promoting and selling the company's products.
- Expand the customer base and increase customer counts.
Responsibilities
- Establish contact and develop relationships with prospective customers to sell products.
- Grow business with existing customers by promoting new products or implementing sales strategies.
- Maintain good rapport with customers through support, high-quality service, and providing market, product, and regulatory information.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote products and services.
- Enhance professional and technical knowledge via training, seminars, conferences, workshops, and reading materials.
- Meet individual and team KPIs set by the company.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including Customer Requirement files and Forecast Quantity.
- Facilitate discussions on agreements and contracts with customers and maintain proper records.
- Handle customer inquiries related to quotations, products, samples, registration, shipments, artwork, visits, and payments.
- Manage customer visits, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Send updated pricing to customers and update CR files accordingly.
- Suggest price reviews based on customer feedback.
- Ensure accuracy in processing purchase orders.
- Monitor and follow up on customer payments.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Assist in preparing for exhibitions, both local and international.
- Organize Packaging Change Order (PCO) meetings, kick-off meetings, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with relevant departments for new customers and requirements.
- Oversee initial production of new items, ensuring process accuracy.
- Assist in annual sales budget planning by providing customer sales forecasts.
- Conduct customer surveys.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Manager or Assistant Manager.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent from a recognised institution.
Work Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience or a recent graduate.
