A multinational corporation in finance is seeking a key finance professional based in Kuala Lumpur. This role involves managing finance functions for Malaysia and Thailand, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and leading a team. Candidates must have a degree in Accounting and at least 6 years of experience with MNCs, demonstrating strong analytical and interpersonal skills. The position offers a hybrid working environment.

- Key finance role in based in Malaysia responsible for finance function of Malaysia and Thailand. This role reports to Finance Lead, South-East Asia.
- Accurate and timely completion of finance related deliverables (including but not limited to budget, forecast, audit, tax, company secretarial and bank administration) in compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements
- Responsible for Malaysia office administration, capital expenditure and communication with government agencies/departments
- Responsible for all aspect of finance related matters managed by Malaysia
- Supported by 3 account executives from share service team
- Work with business teams on insights into performance of business unit against budget and forecast
- Leverage insights to provide Finance leadership and guidance to business teams
- Mentor, coach and develop Finance team
- Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 6 years experience with the MNCs and audit
- Good interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills with ability to communicate effectively across different levels in organization
- Knowledge of Accpac/Sage 300/RPA is preferred
- Highly analytical thought process in order to adapt to an evolving business
