Job summary

A reputable finance organization in Penang is seeking an experienced Accountant to support the finance team by managing the accounts payable function. The successful candidate will perform duties such as processing invoices, managing employee expense claims, and preparing multi-currency payments. Candidates should have a degree in accounting and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with Oracle EBS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Experience with project implementation and system enhancements is preferred.
• Highly organized and proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming invoices from vendors and ensure accuracy.
• Review employee expense claims.
• Prepare payment runs in multiple currencies.

Skills

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experience with Oracle EBS

Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles

Processing multi-currency transactions
