Job description

Responsibilities

• Key finance role in based in Malaysia responsible for finance function of Malaysia and Thailand. This role reports to Finance Lead, South-East Asia.
• Accurate and timely completion of finance related deliverables (including but not limited to budget, forecast, audit, tax, company secretarial and bank administration) in compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements
• Responsible for Malaysia office administration, capital expenditure and communication with government agencies/departments
• Responsible for all aspect of finance related matters managed by Malaysia
• Supported by 3 account executives from share service team
• Work with business teams on insights into performance of business unit against budget and forecast
• Leverage insights to provide Finance leadership and guidance to business teams
• Mentor, coach and develop Finance team

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 6 years experience with the MNCs and audit
• Good interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills with ability to communicate effectively across different levels in organization
• Knowledge of Accpac/Sage 300/RPA is preferred
• Highly analytical thought process in order to adapt to an evolving business
