Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Financial Controller in Melaka, Malaysia. In this role, you will oversee financial planning, risk management, and investor relations for a public listed infrastructure and construction firm. The ideal candidate will possess professional accounting certification and experience in a senior management position within the construction sector. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as you will mentor the finance team and interact with the Board of Directors and investors.
Qualifications
- Possess Professional Accounting Certification or membership such as ACCA/CPA/MIA.
- Currently holding a senior management position in the construction industry.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Develop strategies to optimize the company’s financial performance.
- Lead financial risk management including capital structure and liquidity.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Manage relationships with investors and develop investor communications.
