Role Overview
You will be part of the Italy Human Resources team. In this role, you will support the company's business performance and goal achievement by implementing the best HR strategies in compliance with company guidelines. Your focus will be on enhancing managerial and leadership skills, fostering a performance culture, and improving the employee experience.
An essential part of your activity will be to build and establish strong business partnerships with all stakeholders within your organizational perimeter, including managers and employees. Your goal is to achieve growth objectives and organizational development through the following main activities:
- Ensure the execution of the people strategy at the plant and site levels, aligning group business needs with local laws, union agreements, site-specificities, and cultural approaches, supported by Local Centers of Excellence (CoE).
- Facilitate two-way communication between Business and Local HR, collecting and reporting needs from the group to challenge CoEs HR processes and ensure coherent deployment within your organizational perimeter.
- Act as the primary contact for business managers and employees, consulting CoEs on HR-related issues such as onboarding, performance management, evaluation committees, and salary reviews.
- Assist managers with recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, interviewing candidates, and making hiring recommendations.
- Provide employees with training and development opportunities, working with managers to identify and address skill gaps to meet local business needs.
- Offer guidance on talent rotation at the local level.
- Maintain positive labor relations by cultivating relationships with unions at the site.
- Monitor HR KPIs and define corrective actions at the local level.
As part of the company, you will be expected to work collaboratively as part of the One HR Team, synergizing with the HR group to improve effectiveness, cohesiveness, and collaboration, ensuring the best results for the business.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate:
- Holds a Master’s Degree in Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Political Sciences, or Law.
- Has at least 5 years of experience in human resources roles such as HR generalist or HR Business Partner, with extensive knowledge of all HR topics and workstreams (e.g., organization development, training, industrial relations), preferably in complex international companies.
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills to work, interact, and coach effectively at all organizational levels.
- Is problem-solving, goal-oriented, and capable of managing complexity.
- Describes themselves as a Culture Shaper, able to model and reinforce the company's leadership culture, engage key stakeholders, and support change initiatives.
