Software Development Engineer II - React/Django

Job
We are looking for a full-stack (React/Django/Python) Software Development Engineer to be a part of our Indonesian team working together in a virtual/office environment. You'll work with our team to build great products that delight our customers.

Responsibilities

1. Design, create and maintain new features for the platform using React and Django.
2. Collaborate across the organization to define, prioritize, and ensure the reliability and performance of the product and services.
3. Apply appropriate software design patterns for a given problem.
4. Maintain automated tests and ensure quality in your code.
5. Identify underlying root causes for issues and write tests to catch these issues early on.
6. Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

1. You have at least 5+ years of experience in a Full Stack Engineer role, creating REST APIs using Django.
2. Experience in JavaScript and UI development frameworks like jQuery/Bootstrap or React.
3. Ability to create automated tests to ensure great quality code.
4. Working experience with relational databases like MySQL/Postgres.
5. Basic understanding of Git, Containers (Docker), and CI/CD like Gitlab CI or Travis CI.
6. Using Git and GitHub to manage multiple branches and fix merge conflicts.
7. Apply appropriate software design patterns for a given problem.
8. Bonus points if you have open-source contributions or personal projects you've shipped successfully.
9. Self-motivated and willing to pitch in on many areas and enjoys being a jack of many trades.
10. Enjoys being on the bleeding edge of technology, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and follow industry trends.
