Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Programmer / Software Engineer to develop, test, and maintain software applications that meet the needs of our clients and support our business operations. The successful candidate will work closely with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to design and implement high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code for software applications.
2. Develop and implement new software programs and features.
3. Maintain and improve existing software by fixing bugs and optimizing performance.
4. Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and design software solutions.
5. Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and requirements.
6. Document code and software functionalities for future reference and maintenance.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development.
8. Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams and clients as needed.
9. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Programmer or Software Developer, preferably within the IT payment or financial services industry.
3. Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
4. Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
8. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development tools (e.g., IDEs, debuggers).
9. Relevant certifications or training in software development are a plus.
