A leading manufacturer in food ingredients is seeking an Assistant Manager for Technical Sales in Jakarta. Candidates must have 5-8 years of experience in selling food ingredients, demonstrate strong negotiation skills, and have the ability to build relationships. This role involves identifying new customers, offering technical solutions, and working cross-functionally to drive sales. Fluency in English is essential for effective communication and presentation in this dynamic position.

Connaissances
We are partnering with a leading manufacturer and distributor of agriculture and food products to recruit a passionate and results-driven Assistant Manager - Technical Sales (Food ingredients). This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a well-established company known for its extensive product range and market influence. The position requires integrity, a proactive sales attitude, and excellent communication skills in English.
- Identify, engage, and acquire new customers in East Indonesia to grow the company’s market share (food Business).
- Offer technical advice and customized solutions, ensuring optimal product applications for customer needs.
- Manage and monitor the project pipeline, collaborating with go-to-market teams to meet sales targets.
- Keep abreast of food industry trends, market movements, and emerging technologies; contribute innovative ideas for product development.
- Work cross-functionally with Research, Operations, Marketing, and Sales Management to support product launches and improve customer satisfaction.
- Proven success in selling food ingredients and starch within the food industry.
- 5-8+ years of relevant experience in the food or ingredient industry, with a strong background in selling food ingredients and a sound understanding of food applications.
- Experience with starch-based products in FMCG is preferred.
- Demonstrates integrity, a proactive, hands‑on approach, and strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
