Job summary

A leading textile manufacturer in Indonesia is seeking a Supply Chain Assistant Manager for Export Documentation to handle logistics support, documentation preparation, and customs regulations. The ideal candidate should have at least a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years in supply chain operations, especially in manufacturing. Proficiency in English and familiarity with tools like SAP and Microsoft Excel are essential for success in this role. The position is based in Karawang, focusing on ensuring compliance and timely dispatches.

Supply Chain Assistant Manager – Export Documentation

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Management, Logistics, Supply Chain.

Required language(s): English

At least 5 years of working experience as a Supply Chain Supervisor (Export Import Documentation) in a manufacturing company, preferably from a textile company.

Proven experience in international logistics & shipping (air, ocean, road freight), Incoterms, coordination with freight forwarders and shipping lines.

Required Skills:

  • Complete custom entries in accordance with compliance regulations.
  • Export Import Regulations.
  • Documentation expertise: preparation, verification, and management of all necessary documentation including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations (PEB).
  • Analytic skills; competent in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis & reporting.
  • Experience in using SAP.

Willing to be placed in Karawang.

Job Purpose

To arrange logistics support and ensure timely dispatches, preparation of pre‑shipment, post‑shipment documents, finalization and sales accounting. To support customer information, conduct price analysis, generate market information, and supplement market activities.

Job Description

Management of outbound logistics

  • Co‑ordinate and send shipping instruction to designated shipping company for booking vessel space and container.
  • Co‑ordinate and send shipping instruction to freight forwarder and other agencies.
  • Communicate with customs for PEB (Export Declaration).
  • Prepare and send EPO to internal customers to meet special customer request.
  • Make Invoice, Packing List, and PEB for customs purpose.
