What you’ll be doing day to day:

Ensure you have the right number of competent staff in the right place at the right time and securing that they are fully able and available to serve customers and actively help them to buy. Secure a consistent, seamless positive consumer experience through all channels to help customers search, find, choose and buy. Ensuring that your department is always striving to fulfil the three IKEA Customer motivators: “Is it worth it?”, “Can I trust IKEA?”, “Is there something for me?”

Ensure the department is excellent shape as new, fully and efficiently stocked with the IKEA product range, and is presented in ways that inspire and satisfy customers.

Ensure your team has all the correct knowledge about the product range in your department and the IKEA services so that they can share this with customers to improve their overall shopping experience.

Take responsibility for your department goals and secure that your action plan ensures the country priorities for your department are implemented in your store. You follow up and take action accordingly by using proven solutions and good examples.

You and your team actively sales steer to your department’s top-selling products, prioritized products and IKEA services in order to maximize sales and long‑term profitability.

We want you to be a person who:

• Experienced of working in a management role in sales field
• Passionate about home furnishings, people’s life at home and the IKEA Product Range
• Ability to lead business through people by demonstrating high leadership capabilities
• Your leadership is based on performing and delivering while learning and developing
• Has experience of working in a customer‑oriented industry, leading and managing team, and selling gained in the retail industry.
