Teacher of Science Bromley Leading Secondary School September 2025

An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Bromley is seeking a Teacher of Science for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time and permanent position.

The current Science Head of Department has helped the Science Department grow significantly. The team includes young, experienced, and Teach First Teachers, alongside multiple Science graduate Teaching Assistants who support attainment across KS3, 4 & 5.

This school has achieved impressive Progress 8 results and fosters a fun, creative learning environment for students.

Experienced Science Teachers can take on TLR roles such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibilities, and more.

Newly Qualified Science Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled in the school's bespoke ECT induction program and will work alongside a range of experienced Science Teachers.

7. Salary: MPS1-UPS3 (£38,766 - £60,092) + TLR (depending on experience)

1. Must have UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining it
2. Strong academic background (Degree, A Levels, GCSEs)
3. Meet the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
4. Ability to work effectively within a large team of Science Teachers
5. Willingness to accept feedback and develop professionally
