A global life science company in Epsom is seeking a Technical Documentation Specialist to create service manuals and technical documents. The role involves documenting complex processes and working closely with teams to ensure documentation is accurate and timely. Ideal candidates will have experience in technical documentation, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach. Competitive benefits and the possibility of remote work are available.
You will work with Technical Documentation and Product Support Specialists and other stakeholders to document technically complex processes and specifications.
Creating service manuals and technical documents including maintenance and calibration instructions as well as developing, collecting and publishing technical information.
You will participate in the standardisation of service documentation.
Do you enjoy continuously learning new things? You will work on various projects simultaneously, often time‑sensitive, with the ability to understand the complexity of our Bioprocess systems.
In addition you will monitor user feedback and the implementation of improvements in the documentation.
You will work closely with many global teams all working towards the same goal of ensuring our documentation is correct and completed in a timely manner.
Experience creating technical documentation with the ability to understand complex technical data and communicate it clearly and appropriately to the target audience.
Basic knowledge of XML‑based component content management systems.
Through regular travel to different locations you will build good working relationships and identify with our values: sustainability, openness and enjoyment (approximately 15% international travel).
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills with a willingness to learn.
Have a proactive approach, be organised in your work with a very strong attention to detail ethos.
