King's Professional & Executive Development (KPED) is a central directorate and business owner of Professional Education at King's. KPED work with King's faculties to deliver professional education to a wide international and domestic audience, partnering to design, develop and deliver open and bespoke educational programmes in line with King's Vision. Our multimodal programmes include Continuing Professional Development, Executive Education, post-experience degrees and micro-credentials. We are a small, high-powered team in an exciting area of growth and development for King's College London. Our portfolio is growing rapidly and expanding to include opportunities afforded through public tender, international consultancy, and market foresight.
About the role
The Professional Education Operations Manager role sits within the Operations Team. The successful candidate will work closely with the faculties and the wider KPED team to ensure all aspects of the professional education courses run smoothly for both professional participants and the teaching faculty, bringing their expertise, ideas and suggestions to the team to create a world-class programme. They will also work with central service departments to identify and implement improvements to current processes and systems, focused on the needs of the professional education client and participant.
We are looking for an organised and tech-savvy individual with outstanding technical and systems knowledge, as well as communication and stakeholder management skills. They will have an excellent understanding of the needs of professional education participants, as well as ensuring success in a complex operational structure.
The role is primarily based at King's Strand Campus, however the post holder may be required to travel to other locations on occasion and be prepared to attend occasional events in the evening/at weekends. As part of King's trial of hybrid working, all team members can work remotely for part of the week if they wish.
This is a full-time post and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
