- Delivering lessons to classes in the absence of the teacher, following set lesson plans
- Supporting teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom management
- Working with small groups or individual students to provide targeted support
- Assisting with the assessment and tracking of student progress
- Promoting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment
- Supporting the wider school community as required
- HLTA status (or equivalent experience working as an experienced Teaching Assistant at a higher level)
- Previous experience supporting teaching and learning in secondary schools
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
