Murray Cable is an electrical services contractor offering design, estimating, supply, installation, testing & commissioning. Murray Cable is part of Finning (UK) Ltd, the UK and Ireland dealer for Cat machines, engines, equipment, and power solutions.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary: £20.21 per hour (basic)

• This is a home-based role, paid door-to-door

Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment/lighting systems
• Inspect and test electrical components such as transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear
• Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals to complete projects
• Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools; terminate power/control/monitoring wiring

• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
• Effective problem-solving and analytical skills

Deep understanding and extensive experience in electrical systems and components

Work on industrial and commercial projects, adhering to BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations, national electrical codes, and NICEIC requirements

• CSCS Electrician grade or JIB card
• NVQ Level 3
• Test & inspection certification (2394/2395 or 2391)
• Full UK driver’s license
• Experience with fire alarm installation
• Containment installation experience (ladder, tray, basket, galvanised conduit)
• Desirable: Confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, first aid, ContainEx, and SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications
