The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) is seekinga dedicated Band 4 Associate Practitioner to join the Cardiac Assessment Unit. Youwill be required to work within a multidisciplinary team to provide essentialcardiac investigation services across the Trust. This role involves performinga variety of non-complex diagnostic tests according to daily workloadschedules, ensuring high standards of patient care and accuracy. Strongcommunication skills are essential to collaborate effectively with colleaguesand contribute to the smooth operation of cardiac services.
As a member of the multidisciplinary team, you will beresponsible for updating loop recorder information for new patients andmaintaining an accurate, up-to-date database. You will train and support new orjunior staff in ECG and monitor application, oversee their duties to ensurestandards are met, and escalate any issues to senior staff as necessary. Therole involves performing duties across three hospital sites, using the HospitalPatient Administration System (Cosmic) and the Cardiology Patient Management System(CRIS) for booking patients and data entry. You will also help maintain a cleanand organised working environment, including cleaning equipment, assist withreception duties when required, and take responsibility for identifying yourown training needs to support ongoing skill development.
