Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Maintains regular attendance and punctuality.
• Performs preparation and analysis of samples of various matrices using various analytical methods.
• Analyzes, prepares samples, and performs QC for routine testing.
• Reviews, works up, and assembles all supporting data for work performed.
• Performs basic maintenance on equipment used for routine work.
• Reads, understands, and executes SOPs required by EPA, company methods, governing agencies, clients, and internal QC department.
• Prepares standard solutions and reagents as needed.
• Uses word processor and spreadsheet programs on PC.
• Disposes of all chemical wastes using approved methods.
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is full-time, available on multiple shifts, with overtime as needed.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for degree.
• Proficiency with computer skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Ideal Candidates will have:

• Previous laboratory experience is a plus.
• Experience with instrumentation such as LC/MS or GC/MS is a plus.
• Environmental Science coursework or experience is a plus but not required.

Pay range: $18-19/hour + 10% shift differential.
