Job Description
The role will be part of a successful, growing team focused on Enterprise opportunities. The team is made up of salespeople who generate new opportunities and respond to large private sector technology programmes.
We are seeking a senior Business Development Director with experience in Professional Services Sales to Enterprise-scale customers to join our UK team. The role has an entrepreneurial aspect and is suited for individuals who are driven to develop their own business within the company, supported by a successful sales and marketing team. You should be a self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Your primary responsibility will be to acquire new Enterprise customers interested in digital and systems transformation through digital & cloud solutions. You will collaborate with internal experts in Digital & Cloud Transformation and Application Modernisation, as well as with Version 1 partners, to create go-to-market campaigns such as Legacy Application Modernisation, Digital Transformation Acceleration, Cloud Migration, and ML-enabled Analytics. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering presentations, managing your sales forecast, and overseeing the full sales cycle for each deal.
You will negotiate contracts covering consulting services, fixed-price development, and managed services. As your customer portfolio grows, you will build relationships with strategic partners like Microsoft, AWS, and Oracle, which can lead to further business opportunities.
Qualifications
Over 10 years of experience in IT professional services sales, with a proven track record in selling digital transformation, application modernisation, and cloud services within the Irish market.
Consistent sales performance, achieving or exceeding targets in at least 3 of the last 4 years.
