Summary:

The Procurement Analyst will help to manage and optimize supplier relationships while ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to assess needs, streamline procurement processes, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and manage procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring compliance with contracts.
  • Support sourcing activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and deliver timely solutions.
  • Ensure accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts.
  • Monitor and report on key procurement metrics, including cost savings, lead times, and supplier performance.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and product alternatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Assist in the development of procurement policies and procedures to ensure best practices and compliance.
  • Manage procurement systems and tools to maintain data accuracy and streamline purchasing processes.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams regarding procurement best practices and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing (experience in a SaaS or tech environment is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Experience with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar platforms).
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in driving procurement process improvements.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CPP, or similar) is a plus.
