A leading HR service provider is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a temporary assignment in Sunderland. The role involves managing absence cases and providing general HR support. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in HR, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach. The assignment is for an initial 6 weeks with a possibility of extension, offering an hourly rate of £19.23 for 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday with early finishes on Fridays.

Are you an experienced HR Advisor available for your next temporary opportunity?
Due to sickness, our client has an urgent need for an HR professional to join their busy HR team in Sunderland. This is an initial 6 week assignment, with a strong likelihood of extension.
- Hourly rate: £19.23
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Working pattern: Monday–Thursday (full days), early finish at 12:30pm on Fridays
- Location: On-site in Sunderland
- Start date: ASAP
- Managing high volumes of absence cases
- Supporting with basic employee relations (ER) issues
- Providing generalist HR support across the business
- Collaborating closely with line managers and stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records and casework
- Strong experience in absence management
- Confident supporting managers in a fast paced environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Resilient, adaptable, and solution focused
- Experience with Workday is highly desirable
- A reliable and proactive team player
