Location: Remote with some travel required

Salary: Circa £40k per annum FTE (DOE)

Contract: Permanent

Hours of Work:
This is a part‑time role, working around 25 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, 9:30 am – 3:00 pm, including a 30‑minute lunch break.
We’ve designed this working pattern to fit comfortably around school or other responsibilities, while ensuring regular weekday coverage. We’re happy to discuss small adjustments to the schedule to support the right candidate.

About Us

At Brain in Hand, we’re driven by one purpose, to make the world work better for neurodivergent people.

We’re the team behind a coaching platform that helps autistic and ADHD people achieve more at work, in education and in life. Our app combines personalised digital tools with real human guidance, providing on‑demand support 24/7 – exactly when it’s needed most.

Over half of our team are neurodivergent, so inclusion isn’t just an initiative for us – it’s something we think about everyday. We’re proud to be a values‑led, research‑informed organisation that has supported over 25,000 people across the UK.

We’re collaborative, curious and outcomes‑focused, designing tools and experiences that help people thrive. If you want to apply your expertise to meaningful work and be part of a team that thinks differently, join us.

About you

A motivated self‑starter, you will understand the complex landscape of Access to Work, including a detailed understanding of the assessment process.

As our Access to Work specialist, you will play a key role in developing, managing and growing Brain In Hand’s relationships with assessors, case managers, and key decision makers within the Access to Work landscape.

You’ll be active in the sector, representing Brain in Hand and building trusted, meaningful relationships with people involved in Access to Work including assessors and key stakeholders. You’ll be a key voice for what we do: helping others understand the impact of our work, building confidence in our offer, and encouraging referrals into our service.

If you’re motivated by building meaningful connections and working collaboratively to create positive change we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

Working closely with our Partnership and CRM support officer you will act as the main point of contact for clients wanting to utilise Access to Work funding, including individuals and employers.

You’ll take the lead in building and strengthening relationships within Access to Work. You will ensure our partners feel supported, connected, and confident in the value we offer.

Your responsibilities
Partnership Building & Relationship Management
  • Grow and support key relationships within Access to Work helping our customers get real value from Brain in Hand.
  • Be the main contact for key contacts within Access to work—including Needs Assessors, Case Managers, and resellers—building trusted relationships through regular, meaningful contact.
  • Deliver clear, engaging product demos and awareness sessions, both online and in person, to a wide range of stakeholders—such as ATW Needs Assessors and key intermediaries.
  • Stay close to the ongoing changes within Access to work to ensure Brain In Hand is aware of proposed challenges to this funding route and can respond appropriately.
  • Represent Brain in Hand at relevant events and conferences, helping more people learn about who we are and how we support change.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales enablement materials to support access to work customers.
Data, Planning & Performance
  • Accountable for Access to work funded orders.
  • Keep accurate, up‑to‑date records of partner activity in our CRM (HubSpot), to support smooth handovers and track progress of engagement with assessors.
  • Carry out admin tasks like producing quotes, tracking referrals, and supporting team reporting.
Staff management
  • Provide line management support to the Partnership and CRM Support Officer.
What you’ll bring to Brain in Hand
We’re looking for someone who
  • Has experience in the Access to Work sector (essential), and specifically the role of an assessor. Knowledge of Assistive Technology and/or support for neurodivergent employees is a real bonus.
  • Builds strong, trusted relationships with ease—you’re confident connecting with people, and you know how to grow partnerships that last.
  • Is an experienced manager or team leader. You know how to get the best from the people in your team and can support them effectively.
  • Is comfortable using CRM tools like HubSpot to stay organised, track progress, and use data to guide next steps.
  • Communicates clearly—whether you’re chatting informally, presenting to a room of assessments.
  • Can stay calm and flexible when things change and is happy to adapt as we learn and grow.
  • Keeps an eye on what’s happening in the sector and is open to new ways of working.
  • Believes in the power of coaching and technology to support independence and is excited to help us reach more people.
  • Can juggle a few things at once—you’re practical, solution‑focused, and happy working with different teams.
  • Feels aligned with our mission and wants to play a part in creating meaningful change in the workplace.
What success looks like in this role
  • You’re hitting or exceeding growth targets.
  • Partners feel supported, informed, and valued — and they tell us so.
  • You’re helping to grow referrals and renewals within Access to Work through strong relationships and clear communication.
  • You work well across teams, helping to simplify how we work together and support each other.
  • You support people within your team to develop and flourish.
What you can expect

We’re scaling fast, we work at pace and we work hard. We actively support our colleagues to relish the pace, challenge and ambition of Brain in Hand, so you can expect:

  • A 9‑day working fortnight, with every 2nd Friday focused on you, for you, to do what you need to support your well‑being.
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • A values driven, supportive and collaborative team culture.
  • Opportunity to shape the future of Brain in Hand through regular colleague consultation and feedback.
  • A competitive salary and pension.
  • 33 days leave annually (incl. bank holidays).
  • Support for professional and personal development.
  • Involvement in various internal groups and events like ‘Brew Mondays’ and our employee support groups.
Where you’ll work

We trust our teams to work remotely, from anywhere in the UK. That said, the Commercial team meets quarterly, in person to collaborate and support one another so you’ll need to be willing to travel. There may be times when you’ll need to travel to other UK locations for meetings or events but these will be planned ahead of time.

How to apply

We welcome and celebrate people from diverse backgrounds. We value your personal principles and cultural fit within our teams. If you think you’re right for a role but you’re worried about lacking some experience or skills, we still want to hear from you.

We look carefully at all applications to find the right candidate. Our teams are diverse in age, gender, nationality, religion and beliefs, and we strongly support neurodiversity in our teams. We’re also a disability confident employer so if you need reasonable adjustments to apply and attend interview, we’ll make those as required. We look forward to receiving your application.
