In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Health & Safety Consultant to join our Facilities team, bringing fresh insights and expertise to our People department.
The role sits within the Facilities Management team. This position plays a critical role in promoting a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
The role holder collaborates closely with operations management to ensure that health and safety considerations are integrated into operational practices. This involves ensuring that managers understand their responsibilities regarding workplace safety and are equipped to implement necessary safety measures.
The Facilities Health & Safety Consultant is responsible for conducting comprehensive health and safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and compliance issues within facilities. They develop, review, and update health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring effective communication of these guidelines to all staff members. Additionally, the consultant manages safe systems of work and oversees the safety elements of events held on CUK premises and during away days, ensuring a consistently safe environment for all participants.
This role is positioned at CUK10 level within our organisation and is available on a full-time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid work, but this role requires a strong office presence.
