A fantastic opportunity to assist in the day-to-day running of the finance department. This role provides exposure to all aspects of office work and integration with the entire company, offering a comprehensive view of how a business operates through a range of tasks.

• Work alongside the Finance Manager
• Collate timesheets
• Process and distribute sales invoices, checking and matching to timesheets
• Process supplier invoices, checking and matching subcontractor details
• Assist with credit control to ensure timely invoice payments
• Raise purchase orders
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Reconcile and prepare credit card statements
• Check and prepare expenses
• Assist in maintaining the Fixed Asset register
• Help prepare payroll information, verify hours worked, and respond to staff queries
• Provide basic office assistance as needed
• Handle ad hoc tasks as they arise

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential.

• GCSE Maths and English, grade C or higher (depending on age and development)
• AAT Level 2

• Good communication and question-asking skills
• Interest in accounts and finance as a career
