Job summary
A leading healthcare organization in Corsham is seeking a Quality Control Officer responsible for environmental monitoring and quality checks. This role requires at least one year of laboratory experience, including the use of UV Spectrometry and Gram staining. We are located in a modern manufacturing and office facility in Corsham Science Park in Wiltshire, just 5 miles from Chippenham and 8 miles from Bath. The Pharmaxo Group comprises of Bath ASU, Pharmaxo Healthcare, and Pharmaxo Scientific.
The Quality Control Officer has primary responsibility for Environmental Monitoring as part of the Quality Team at BathASU. Supplementary responsibilities include QC checks on incoming goods and validation and verification of equipment. This role requires the QC Officer to coordinate with the wider Quality team and to work closely with Engineering and Production.
The goal of this position is to successfully monitor the facility and to investigate and risk assess results that are out of limits or have breached action limits.

- Annual salary: £25,625
- Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years’ service)
