In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 20 terminals across Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. Approximately 2,000 employees in this segment handle terminal-related activities and provide logistics services at selected locations.
Your responsibilities :
- Support initiatives led by the Head of IT Office that drive technological and organizational transformation across the global IT organization (e.g., IT Operating Model Transformation).
- Assist in preparing board packages for the Hapag-Lloyd IT boards and ensure content quality.
- Collaborate with IT departments and central controlling to support annual budget submissions.
- Assist with monthly performance management cycles for financials and strategy progression (e.g., Strategy and IT Operating Model Transformation).
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Head of IT as needed.
- Coordinate and collaborate closely with the IT department’s senior leadership.
- Lead or support strategic IT projects.
- Manage communication and stakeholder engagement across the organization.
Your profile :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience in logistics, IT, or a technology-driven environment.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Understanding of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Financial literacy and proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to manage confidential information discreetly.
- Experience working in large, international organizations.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a benefit.
German language expectations :
