JOB OVERVIEW:
- Job Title: NP/PA – Critical Care Pediatric
- Job Type: Locum Tenens
- Location: San Francisco, CA
- Service Setting: Pediatrics ICU and Pediatric Transitional Care Unit (TCUP)
- Coverage Type: Clinical Only
- Coverage Period: 07/21/2025 – 6 months (pending credentialing, 60-90 days)
- Clinical Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Day, Night, Weekend)

REQUIRED PROCEDURES:
- Pediatric inpatient care
- Non-invasive mechanical ventilation management (BIPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula)
- Post-operative specialty surgical care
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Licenses: Active CA license
- Certifications: BLS, CPNP-AC required (for NP); DEA required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year PICU, PCICU, or Peds Hospitalist experience required
- Other Qualifications: Pediatric oncology experience preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide pediatric critical care and transitional care in the PICU and TCUP units
- Perform 12-hour clinical shifts including day, night, and weekend coverage
- Manage patients requiring non-invasive ventilation and post-operative care
- Maintain documentation in Epic EMR system
- Work collaboratively in a hospital setting as part of a pediatric care team
