Responsibilities:

• Designs NORMA Group drawings (e.g., quotation and manufacturing), creates and tracks part numbers, and manages the product verification and validation process.
• Establishes the D-FMEA (Software: Apis).
• Defines customer-owned interfacing components (e.g., flanges, spigots, gaskets, etc.).
• Initiates and drives Global Excellence and VA/VE activities (cost saving, efficiency improvement).
• Identifies, communicates, and leads innovation projects.
• Performs testing and calculations regarding technical competitor analysis (e.g., benchmarking).
• Develops and maintains design guidelines and conducts product trainings.
• Processes customer inquiries and projects (daily business).

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed studies as Bachelor / Dipl. Ing. / Master in Mechanical Engineering.
• Several years of relevant experience focusing on product design.
• Experience in leading projects from customer request to series production regarding product development.
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken; German is an advantage.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external customer relationships.
• Motivated team player with a can-do attitude and the ability to identify new opportunities.
