Business Transformation & Architecture (BT&A) is the management and architecture consulting unit within SAP Customer Services & Delivery, helping customers leverage technology and digitalization. In the fast-moving services sector—covering professional services, banking, insurance, travel, transportation, telecommunications, and media—agility, customer experience, and digital engagement are key. Your role will be pivotal in helping these businesses scale efficiently, respond to market changes, and deliver exceptional customer value through cloud-first transformation.

As a Principal Enterprise Architect RISE for Public & Energy - MU Germany (f/m/d), you will guide customers through digital transformations using SAP technologies, promote the RISE with SAP initiative, and accelerate SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) adoption.

You will develop comprehensive reference Enterprise Architectures—RISE Models—aligned with customer business objectives, working within a multidisciplinary team of experienced colleagues. Your activities will include:

• Developing reference architectures and transformation plans based on SAP best practices
• Providing architecture guidance using RISE with SAP methodology and Clean Core principles
• Identifying innovation use cases to support strategic and operational goals
• Advising management on architecture and transformation activities
• Mitigating technical adoption risks
• Aligning customers and partners with SAP’s Clean Core strategy and BTP adoption

We seek dynamic, advisory-minded professionals from multinational environments capable of driving standards, organizational change, and innovation.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Informatics, or comparable education
• 9-11+ years of practical experience advising management and working as an enterprise architect or transformation advisor in a multinational environment
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end SAP implementations, including process design, support, and optimization
• S/4HANA technical and/or SAP S/4HANA functional knowledge
• Professional certifications (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect, TOGAF) are a plus
• Strong knowledge of SAP’s strategy and product portfolio
• Understanding of project management methodologies
• Strong customer relationship skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management and C-level executives
• Strategic mindset, continuous learning attitude, and adaptability
• Fluent in English and German
