Assistant Manager – IT Support
Job Description:
We seek an Assistant Manager for our IT Support department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience managing a team of IT professionals.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily IT support operations, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Manage a team of IT support technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensure timely resolution of technical problems and prioritize tasks effectively.
Collaborate with other departments to implement and maintain IT solutions.
Monitor IT infrastructure and propose improvements for efficiency and security.
Maintain documentation of IT systems and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of IT support experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
Proficiency in operating systems, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft) are a plus.
