AsanUrbantechProjectManageryouwillberesponsiblefor:
ProjectManagementtooverseedetaileddesign,submissionpackagepreparation,approvals,coordination,budgetmanagement,liaisewithapprovalagenciestoensureprojecttimelinesaremet,coordinatewithDesignandCAteams.
•Dailyclientcoordinationandcontact.
•Duediligence,frontendprojectplanning.
•Developnewbusinessandretaintheexistingclientbase.
•On-goingreviewofopportunitiestoimproveprojectefficiencies.
•Coachandmentorstaff.
•Stayinguptodatewithpolicy,guidelines,andnewtechnologies.
•Performdrafting,designandcostestimatingtasksasrequired.
•Attendingsitevisitmeetings,conferencesandtrainingasrequired.
Otherdutiesmaybeassigneddependingonwhatisneededtocompleteourcommitments.YouwillberequiredtoworkwithstaffatourOakvilleofficeonoccasion/asrequired,butMarkhamwillbeyourmainoffice.
Skills&Qualifications:
•Minimumof5yearsoflocalexperiencegainedintheconsultingindustry.
•RegistrationasaProfessionalEngineer(P.Eng.)orC.E.T.
•Experienceasleaddesignengineer/designprojectmanager,withafocusonlanddevelopment.
•Demonstratedprofessionaljudgment,consistency,andattentiontodetail,trackrecordofqualityworkproducts.
•Demonstratedleadership,decision-makingandcoachingskills,especiallytheabilitytotrainandmentorprofessionals.
•Provenprojectmanagementanddesignskillswithademonstratedabilitytomeetprojectschedulesandbudgets.
•Knowledgeofprovincialandmunicipalenvironmentalregulationsandguidelines.
•Creativity,understandingofthegrayareabetweentheoryandpracticalapplication.
•Abilitytoplan,organizeandmanageprojects,deadlines,andclients.
•FamiliarwithAutoCADandAutoCADCivil3Dsoftware.
