Job Description:TD Securities Corporate and Investment Banking provides a full range of financial advisory and capital-raising services to corporate and institutional clients globally. Our Relationship Managers work closely with our clients to understand their needs and bring them unique solutions to complex issues. The department is organized into areas of expertise by product, region, and industry.
The Business Management Team within Corporate & Investment Banking is responsible for providing ongoing strategic and operational support, as well as supervisory oversight, to front-line Investment Bankers and Senior Executives within the department, such that their focus can remain on providing optimal client coverage and execution. The team liaises with various TDS and TDBG support partners to advance the needs of the department as well as assist with rolling out any firm- or bank-wide initiatives.
Position Overview:In this role, you will report to the Director of Business Enablement within the broader Corporate & Investment Banking Business Management team.
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven individual to support the roadmap and development of our pipeline management and CRM platform. This role will play a critical part in aligning business goals with technology capabilities, driving innovation, and enhancing client experiences through CRM capabilities. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with stakeholders across technology, compliance, operations, and data partners to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing Client 360 platform.
Key Accountabilities:More specifically, the role will require you to:
- Own the CRM platform/ Client 360 product backlog, roadmap, and delivery lifecycle
- Lead and conducts Business Acceptance Testing
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable user stories and technical requirements.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value, client impact, strategic alignment, regulatory requirements, and technical dependencies.
- Work closely with data, compliance, and legal teams to ensure the CRM system aligns with all applicable financial regulations (e.g., FINRA, SEC, GDPR).
- Partner with Agile delivery teams to define acceptance criteria, validate deliverables, and ensure solutions meet quality standards and are in adherence to effectively managing MNPI
- Monitor platform usage, adoption metrics, and user feedback to inform continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners as necessary to integrate third-party solutions and maintain system performance.
- Owns the end- user documentation such as training material, job aids and communication prior to any technology roll-outs and will contribute towards ongoing data quality improvement initiatives
- Advises and designs workflows to further improve the efficiency of existing processes related to the deal lifecycle and ensures seamless integration with other platforms
- Provides BAU support for the in-house CRM/Client 360 platform and is the primary trainer for any new hires
- Acts as a change champion to drive adoption and continuous improvement across existing CIB Tools
- Stay informed about CRM technology trends, compliance regulations, and competitor activity within the financial services sector.
Specific Accreditations and Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (MBA or related graduate degree preferred).
- 5-10 years of experience in capital markets and project management/business operations
- 5+ years of product ownership or product management experience, preferably in financial services or wealth management.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing a CRM platform with strong knowledge of configuration and integration best practices.
- Strong understanding of financial services business processes, customer lifecycles, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Product Owner certification (CSPO or equivalent) is a plus.
Other Qualifications/Skills:- Previous experience working as a product owner and delivering large scale initiatives
- Strong understanding of Corporate and Investment banking and the 'banker mindset'
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through an ability to relationship build and work as part of a collaborative team
- Strong problem-solving skills; an ability to identify issues through observation and key metrics and proactively propose recommendations.
- Experience in navigating complex projects in a large organization with ability to influence multiple stakeholder groups.
- Familiarity with marketing automation, customer segmentation, and lead management tools.
- Experience with API integrations and third-party data feeds in financial platforms.
- Experience with data governance and CRM analytics/reporting
- Experience working with UI/UX teams to optimize CRM user interfaces.
