A leading animation studio in Vancouver is seeking a proactive Houdini technical artist to assist the CFX team on their latest animated feature. The role involves troubleshooting production issues, validating CFX rigs, and supporting artists with day-to-day technical challenges. Applicants should have problem-solving skills and experience with Houdini. This hybrid position requires in-office attendance for at least three days a week, offering a competitive salary range of $72K - 100K CAD and comprehensive benefits.

- 6 months of experience on animated/VFX feature, working as a TA is desirable.
- Experience with cloth, fur, and feather tools is preferable.
Responsibilities
- Work with CFX supervision team to identify and debug production issues.
- Test and validate new releases of Houdini CFX rigs.
- Create and update documentation that supports CFX processes.
