About Staffing works with a number of companies across Calgary that require temporary, casual, and part-time workers.

We are working with multiple employers in Calgary, Alberta, who are seeking outstanding candidates for Executive Assistant roles. These opportunities include both short-term and long-term assignments.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, energetic, and professional, with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. They will interact with both internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a high level of confidentiality and discretion. Maintaining a composed and professional presence, they will also be adaptable and resourceful when handling both personal and business-related responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

  1. Assist senior staff (C-suite executives, directors, and other leaders) with calendar management, meeting and presentation preparation, correspondence, expense reporting, and travel arrangements.
  2. Handle sensitive and confidential documents, files, records, and contact information with discretion.
  3. Organize board meetings, including preparing and distributing relevant documentation.
  4. Coordinate business and personal events as required.
  5. Provide general administrative support across various functions.
  6. Support administrative staff as needed.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Successfully complete a criminal and credit check.
  2. A track record of building positive relationships.
  3. Advanced knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Experience:

  1. A minimum of 5 years experience in an Executive Assistant role is required.

Skills:

  1. Confident, poised, and professional.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. High attention to detail and organization.
  4. Energetic and positive demeanour, takes pride in getting the job done.
  5. Exceptional relationship building skills.
  6. Flexible and adaptable in nature, able to shift and manage multiple priorities.
  7. Proactive, able to anticipate needs and solve problems before they arise.
  8. Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion.
  9. Flourishes in a fast-paced environment.

Base Salary:

  1. Temporary placements range from $25.00-$28.00+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
  2. Temporary and Contract employees are pay-rolled weekly via direct deposit.

Work Hours:

  1. Varies per assignment.
  2. Monday to Friday.

Remote Work:

  1. This position is not remote and required to be on-site.

  1. This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
