Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Director of Corporate Services & Treasurer plays a key leadership role as a member of the Corporate Leadership Team (CLT), providing strategic and operational oversight for all functions within the Corporate Services portfolio.
The Director provides expert financial advice, accurate and timely reporting, and guidance to the CAO, Mayor, Council, and Corporate Leadership Team. The role supports informed decision-making, long-term fiscal sustainability, and good governance.
This position is also responsible for developing and recommending both short- and long-term financial strategies, leading the development of the Mayor\'s annual budget, and fulfilling the statutory duties of the Treasurer in accordance with the Municipal Act.
