On behalf of our client, Down East Hospitality Inc. a locally owned and operated franchise group, we are looking for a Team Development Manager to cover a 12-15 month maternity leave.
About Our Client
Down East Hospitality Inc. is a proud operator of 9 Tim Hortons restaurants across HRM. With a hands-on leadership team and a deep-rooted commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, they are passionate about people, process, and progress. As an organization, they foster a fast-paced, collaborative environment where team development and operational excellence go hand-in-hand.
This is a full-time (12-15 month maternity leave cover), in-office role that blends human resources with operational support. Reporting to the General Manager and Owner, the successful candidate will lead HR practices across all locations, while also lending a hand with day-to-day business needs. From hiring and training to team engagement and health and safety, you’ll help build a strong people-first culture within one of Canada's most recognized brands.
You are a confident, resourceful HR professional who thrives in dynamic environments and has a solid understanding of labour standards and immigration processes in Nova Scotia. You’re comfortable leading people programs and coaching managers, and you’re not afraid to jump into operational challenges when needed. With a passion for people and a keen eye for process, you bring both heart and hustle to the table.
We thank all candidates for their interest; however, only those best aligned to the role will be contacted for initial discussions.
*Please note, candidates must be located in Canada and legally eligible to work on a permanent basis, as sponsorship for this opportunity is not available.*
