A leading youth mental health organization in Toronto seeks a Manager, Major Gifts to cultivate and manage a portfolio of major donors. The role focuses on fundraising of $50,000+, requiring strong communication and strategic skills. Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years of experience in fundraising and a commitment to youth mental health. The position offers a salary of $70,000–$80,000 and a hybrid work environment.
Embark on a transformative journey with Jack.org, where you will play a pivotal role in reshaping youth mental health across Canada. Our mission is to empower young individuals with community, knowledge, and tools to champion mental well‑being. We envision a world where youth experience mental well‑being, not distress. We stand poised and determined for this crucial task, backed by committed donors, visionary leadership, and a high‑performing team eager to drive meaningful change.
Focused on addressing the prevalent issue of mental health distress among youth—particularly those systematically excluded from mental health dialogue and action—we continuously adapt our programming to reflect the diverse realities of young people across Canada. Our approach centers on upstream prevention of mental distress and the promotion of lasting mental well‑being.
As our new Manager, Major Gifts, you will lead a growing portfolio of major donors—cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding gifts of $50,000 and above. You’ll play a vital role in strengthening Jack.org’s long‑term sustainability and mission impact by engaging individual and family foundation donors with care, strategy, and intention.
Join us in building a healthier future for young people—and supporting the incredible team making it happen every day.

At Jack.org, we strongly believe that having a diverse team with various skills and abilities will inspire creativity and drive innovation in our organization. We are committed to building a team representative of different backgrounds and perspectives, and we encourage applications from all candidates who represent the full diversity of communities across Canada.
Don’t meet every single requirement? At Jack.org, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, authentic, and accountable workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply.
Reasonable accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the hiring process. Accommodation requests can be made by contacting accessibility@jack.org.
