You’ll specifically take care of installation planning, coordination, and quality assurance, but also support physical installations and manage technical interfaces with international teams.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing and planning onboard Installation, including Bill of Installation Materials, Method Statements, and Installation teams
  • Reviewing and finalizing installation designs, performing train surveys, and ensuring installation baselines are established
  • Overseeing the creation and updates of the Installation Management Plan (IMP) and supervising first article inspections
  • Ensuring Installation process adherence from 4M start of design to Handback for revenue service
  • Leading interface meetings with international, local teams and customer.
  • Supervising and monitoring contractor work to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Engineering or a Diploma with 5-6 years of equivalent education or experience
  • Experience in railway onboard site management (5-10 years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of railway onboard products and services in various market segments
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design tools (certification preferred)
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical drawings, tools, and testing procedures
  • Good communication skills and experience working in a unionized environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work both in-office and on-site under seasonal environmental conditions
  • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling

  • Contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of mobility
  • Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment
