An Assistant Coach with NWP may perform the following:

• Assisting in practicing planning
• Assisting in game preparation
• Player development
• Video analysis
• Participation in team meetings, practices and activities
• Travel if applicable

The successful candidate will have at least 1‑2 years coaching at the post‑secondary or high‑school level. Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:

• A strong understanding of sport‑specific technique and skills

• Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills
• An entrepreneurial spirit, specifically one who is willing to take a risk to create opportunities
