Job summary
A personal care service provider in British Columbia is seeking compassionate individuals for personal care roles. Responsibilities include assisting clients with hygiene, meal preparation, and companionship. No prior experience required as training will be provided. This is a permanent position with 30 to 35 working hours per week, focused mainly in English.
Qualifications
- Compassionate and reliable individual.
- Ability to assist clients with personal hygiene and care.
- Basic cooking and light housekeeping skills.
Responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care.
- Assist clients with bathing and medication.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Education
- Secondary high school graduation certificate
- Administer bedside and personal care
- Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
- Collect specimens
- Feed or assist in feeding
- Mend clothing and linens
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Plan therapeutic diets and menus
- Provide companionship
- Provide personal care
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Will train
