Job summary
A leading construction materials company in Peel Region, Brampton is seeking a Sales Representative to manage territory growth and customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a College Degree, at least 5 years of sales experience, and professional knowledge of epoxy coatings. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential. This role involves training clients, conducting presentations, and providing market intelligence.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in sales and customer service in a similar industry.
- Professional knowledge in Epoxy Coatings and Concrete Polyurethane Installation.
- Valid driver's license required.
Responsibilities
- Manage territory growth and sales budget.
- Represent the company to various potential customers.
- Provide product training and technical communications with clients.
- Conduct cold calls and market solicitation.

Under the responsibility of the Director of Sales (Central and Eastern Canada), the position holder fulfills the responsibilities linked to sales and representation of his territory.
- Is responsible of the territory growth, sales budget and business management of the designated territory consistent with corporation objectives through special presentations of current and new products on the market ;
- Is responsible for representing the company with various potential customers (distributors, consulting engineers, industrials, architects, installers) ;
- Is responsible for product training, communications with clients regarding technical matters on products, does complaint resolution and influences buying decisions of the customers ;
- Is responsible to present a written report to the management on the activities of the territory and provides market intelligence ;
- Does cold calls activities or market solicitation on a regular basis ;
- Responsible to provide company with feedback on field testing of new or prototype formulas ;
- Participates in the development of new products with the Product Managers ;
- Does any other related tasks.
- Education : College Degree (CD) 5 year experience in sales, customer service in a similar industry and environment.
- University degree, an asset
- Professional knowledge on Epoxy Coatings and Concrete Polyurethane Installation.
- Languages Spoken and Written : English
- Valid driver's licence holder
- Office automation software : MS Office
- Good knowledge of industry standard
- Knowledge of MAPEI Products
