Job summary
A regional health authority in Campbell River is seeking a full-time staff member for a nursing training position. This role includes planning and providing direct nursing care to patients in accordance with standards and guidelines. Candidates must be registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives and have related medical or surgical experience. This position emphasizes effective communication and organization skills. The training leads to a regular position once completed.
Qualifications
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Recent related medical and/or surgical experience required.
- Completion of specialty training will lead to a regular position.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients/residents in the hospital or community.
- Plan and organize workload according to procedures and standards.
