Job summary
A leading Canadian university in Ontario is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support physics courses. This position requires an Honours degree in Physics, Astronomy, or a related discipline. Candidates with prior teaching experience and knowledge of course content are preferred. Competitive hourly rates based on qualifications are offered. The role involves approximately 30 hours per semester with a commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Qualifications
- Completion of an Honours degree is mandatory.
- Previous teaching experience is desirable.
- Successful completion of course related to duties is also an asset.
Responsibilities
- Approximately 30 hours of work per semester.
- Duties include teaching assistance according to Collective Agreement.
