Senior Postgres Platform Engineer (Remote)
Résumé du poste
A leading cloud platform company in Canada is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build and extend their platform control plane. The role requires expertise in Postgres and a strong programming background in Ruby, Go, or Python. Join a fast-paced environment where you'll work on backend services, contribute to automation tooling, and improve observability for database operations. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of software engineering experience and be comfortable with cloud infrastructure practices.

Qualifications
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, preferable in database or cloud platforms.
- Deep understanding of Postgres operations and performance tuning.
- Strong programming skills in Ruby, Go, or Python.
Responsabilités
- Design and build backend services for database clusters.
- Extend platform control plane to support new Postgres capabilities.
- Contribute to tools simplifying cluster management.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure performance and reliability.
